World Day of Prayer
Friday, March 6, 2009, the women of Papua New Guinea (PNG) invite us to come with them to the Land Of The Unexpected; to come together with the confidence that In Christ There Are Many Members, Yet One Body. The women of PNG ask us to unite as one in Christ as we join with them in celebrating a unity where love is genuine, where good overcomes evil and where we are of one heart and soul.
The MERCI Mission Center in Goldsboro, NC is an outreach program of the North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church (NCC). Following the devastation of Hurricane Floyd in 1999, NCC made a commitment to help people in need living in Eastern North Carolina.
The Robeson County Church and Community Center is God’s people at work together, reaching out in love to meet our neighbors’ needs in the name of Christ.
We seek to involve people across cultural, racial, class, and denominational barriers in partnership with each other to address social needs and to move in Christ’s name toward
solutions.
